Story: Love & Monsters
Written By: Russell T Davies
Length: 45 Minutes
Year: 2006
People hate this episode. But I ain’t people. Wait I mean...I’m not like other people. I really dig “Love & Monsters” because it’s different. It’s because it’s different that fans tend to look down on this episode, but they give it so very little credit. Well, people hate it because there is not a whole lot of Doctor to be found. The first Doctor-Lite episode, as they’ve come to be called.
It creates characters I care about and their story, however ridiculous it may be, is just that, a STORY. We don’t know how much is true, but the basics of it are true, and it is all around a genuinely fun episode to watch in this season.
Its goofy, its strange, and it does something completely and utterly different, and for that I respect it.
