Story: Space/Time
Written By: Steven Moffat
Length: Two 4-Minute Episodes
Year: 2011
This two part mini-episode (the first titled Space, and the second called Time) created for Comic Relief is pretty funny. It is silly and totally ridiculous, and the logistics of it all are sort of pointless to figure out...but its just for comic relief, so its just fun if you just watch it for the jokes.
I like the nonsensical whimsy and hard to grasp logistics that come with Moffat & Smith's Doctor. He just moves so fast that he is hard to keep up with as a viewer...about as much as people within the show have been saying of the character for years. I was always able to keep up with Tennant, but I often find myself struggling (and enjoying the chase to be honest) to keep up with Matt Smith. It is quite enjoyable to find such a unique take on a character without losing what makes the character so enduring in the first place.
Anyhow, for a laugh, this is fun...take it's nonsense too seriously and you could miss the joke.
