Some aliens arrive that look like drawings of dog people from Ancient Egypt, they convince K-9 that he is their God and he spends so much time during the episode trying to look back in his memory banks he barely notices what is going on. Meanwhile the aliens mind control Gryffen and eventually Starkey and Jorjie, leaving Darius as the one guy available to try and stop their evil plan of...destroying the fascist government? Wait why are kids against this again?
They actually try and defend the government which they were all actively against when the show began...and we aren't half way through and our heroes are now embracing the fascism? I mean maybe not outright embracing it, but they are certainly shrugging their shoulders at it now, as if it is in maybe some small way necessary? This is terrible. I cannot believe this show is so poorly written they forgot that their creepy dystopian government with robot cops and shadowy operations is supposed to be sinister and not "flawed but not all bad!"
The episode is really awful, I mean the idea that K-9 could be convinced he is a God, that the evil plan is to end Fascism and the kids are like "but we just got used to it!" What a mess this show is.
