The children have decided to casually ruin Gryffen's life. Darius is stealing his books to sell and Jorjie is just wandering around his house horribly singing some terrible rap song that doesn't actually exist.  Gryffen is visibly miserable...and yet this has no actually bearing on the episode at all.  These feel like character moments that would tie into a larger plot and they'd all learn their lesson in the end or something.  But no, this character moments have no payoff and the kids will presumably continue to steal his property for cash or just constantly annoy him with unwanted music while he is trying to work.  He is afraid to leave his house, so he can't even get away. Oh I suppose he could just kick these random children out of his home.  

Meanwhile, Starkey takes K9 fishing, but the find the Thames polluted, and K9 himself is harmed by the pollution.  It turns out some aliens have been held captive by Drake, and the kids need to rescue them and send them on their way in order to fix the pollution or something. Also Jorjie's mom is clearly now being written as some sort of helpful insider, whereas she was absolutely just a government stooge in earlier episodes.  Shame they didn't build this up naturally and just took a left turn at some point.  Or maybe the kids have all just become more sympathetic to fascism?  Good for them...

I wonder when Gryffen will snap and murder these children who've invaded his home?
