Everyone is having bad dreams that are being fed off by some alien beings who came from ancient stones or something, and they are using the sleeping population as some kind of zombie force. And also they don't have a physical form so they put Jorjie's mom into some weird outfit to sort of serve as their avatar.
This episode doesn't have a horrendous main idea, but the execution is so bland and rushed...it just fails to grab me. I am not going into this show wanting to dislike it, but it fails to impress me with it's style, the characters all fall flat, with K-9 only getting by on his ability to offer some sort of nostalgia. You've got three bland actor kids who are mostly just trying to maintain their English accents and not falter back into Australian accents, and then you have Gryffen who is just a pale imitation of the Doctor who instead of adventuring around the universe, tries not to ever leave his house.
The episode is maybe on the better end of episodes I have watched, but the bar is just so low.
NEXT TIME: K-9 is a God?
