Doctor Who: Season 22 Recap

This was a terrible season. The writing was bad all around. Add to that the choice to give Colin Baker that costume, Peri becoming not only just annoying due to the accent but she is constantly arguing with the Doctor...you get an overall bad taste left in your mouth.

JNT's control of the show seems to have lost its good qualities, and ventured into the detrimental.

By this time budget problems were never going to get fixed for the classic series. The sets look terrible. They are often small or cramped, and look as if they are made out of cardboard. The costume makes you never take him seriously as the Doctor. His companion is played by a decent actress who never gets the accent right...and they are forced to be combative with each other constantly on screen.

The writers never actually did the plan to make The Doctor slightly warmer with each story. Instead he doesn't develop at all. Its a complete waste of a season...and it is no wonder what ended up happening happened.

The Show was suspended.
