This is the weak link in the Key To Time season. Even as a weak link it isn't all bad, proving how successful this season really is. It is slightly dull, and the costumes are pretty terrible to look at.
Against what had been set up so far, our heroes find the segment to the Key rather early this time, and then they find themselves in trouble. It would have worked better had the immediate trouble not been...the Taran Wood Beast....
To paraphrase someone from the old Doctor Who forum, suspension of disbelief can only go so far. Other than that the actual androids just feel like a rehash of "The Android Invasion".
