Story: City of Death
Written By: David Agnew
Length: 4 Episodes
Year: 1979
Probably the only good story in this season. The story is entertaining, funny in the right places, and rather enjoyable to watch. I would say it plays to the strength of the relationship between Ward and Baker, who by this time had started their off screen romance (I think).
The story is complicated in a very Adams way, as the writer David Agnew is in fact a pseudonym for Adams, David Fisher, and Graham Williams. It all seems to work, and I enjoy it very much, as I think you would. But at the same time there are so many more stories from other Doctors and Baker himself that this story just won't make the cut of stories to check out if you are a new Who fan.
