The gang of the TARDIS each wake up on different reality/game shows in the future. But they are more than just games, they are deadly. The episode is decent but it takes a bit to get going. Once it does its fantastic though. We are once again returned to Satellite 5 from the Long Game, which is now just producing loads of Reality Shows.
The reveal of the Daleks is chilling every time I watch it. Thousands...millions of them. With the trusty old companion trapped within their depth. Eccleston is brilliant throughout.
The cliffhanger is fucking great every single time. The Doctor refuses to surrender to the Daleks. He vows to fight them all and save Rose...as if to say “stay tuned kids...I’m going out with a bang. SEE YOU NEXT WEEK.”
Then a million Daleks race out into space...credits. Sometimes I just pop in the DVD for that cliffhanger. Okay I did that once...but it was a good once.
