Story: Meglos
Written By: John Flanagan and Andrew McCulloch
Length: 4 Episodes
Year: 1980
"Meglos" is pretty decent. Nothing special, but Tom Baker is pretty much phoning it in in his last season, and Lalla Ward never looks as pleased to be there as she was in the previous season. So with our two leads looking miserable due to the changes made by the new hot shot Producer...such as Baker having to take the job seriously, not play every line for laughs, and not push the cast and crew around anymore...every episode this season is rather sub-par.
But "Meglos" is good despite that. All credit where credit is due, where ever that credit lies, certainly not with Baker. The most memorable image of this story is the possessed Tom Baker with a prickly face. Its memorable no matter how lame this season can be.
NEXT TIME: Yay...Adric...
