This a pretty padded humdrum story, but it has its moments. Davison is a decent Doctor, but he really doesn't become a great Doctor until his final story unfortunately.
The most recognizable sequence from this serial is the Doctor floating in space outside the TARDIS, with nothing but his Cricket outfit and a sort of breathing helmet, which is totally ridiculous. But while in space he sort of saves the day by throwing a cricket ball. It sums up this Doctor nicely. Using Cricket to his advantage. He is dashing and fun, but its all a bit dull story wise.
