The conclusion to the Slitheen two parter is both stronger and weaker than its predecessor. In some ways it’s got more action and is more exciting to watch. In other ways it doesn’t do anything all that impressive as a conclusion that makes me feel like it had to be two parts.
Overall I’d say it is more of an overblown one-part story. Blowing up Downing Street is over the top as hell too. The Slitheen are not the best monsters this show has created, but they are far from the worst (SEE: Taran Wood Beast).
