Story: Nightmare of Eden
Written By: Bob Baker
Length: 4 Episodes
Year: 1979
Yet another boring story from this season. This time it has ridiculous monster costumes as well. They sort of look like a black HR Puf-N-Stuf. Totally Ridiculous. This story is dull and uneventful, padded to the nines.
Graham Williams lost that magic touch from Season 16, whatever made the Key To Time arc so good seems to be missing this season. Seemingly, the only change was Mary Tamm leaving and Lalla Ward coming in...but she is charming and I enjoy her presence. Really I think that industry strikes might've effected things, I think Williams might've been ready to move on, and Script Editor Douglas Adams might've been more interested in working on his "Hitchhikers"series.
Whatever the reason, this season was full of boring padded stories, this one is no exception.
NEXT TIME: The Nimon
