The return of the Cybermen! Their first appearance in the series since The Invasion, despite brief cameos. They were absent throughout the Pertwee era, probably to avoid just repeating the Invasion. Despite the Wheel in Space, every Cybermen story so far has been pretty good, and this is no exception.
I think the Cybermen are slightly better than the Daleks for me. They are more consistent, even though the design changes everytime, their stories are often really well written, scary, and altogether enjoyable.
I really enjoy this story a lot, and find it to be a great end to the debut season of Tom Baker.
