Doctor Who: Season Twelve Recap

This was a fantastic season. With the exception of the weak link and start from "Robot", this season is a great watch right up to the finish, often enjoyable, exciting, frightening, and with very little padding.

It managed to get so much right.  Baker had many seasons on the show after this, some good and some bad...but so few managed to be this consistent from beginning to end. He was a fresh new Doctor, and Baker settled into the role almost instantly, he was born to play the part.  And each week the stories were great.

While his second season is almost just as strong as this season, I really loved the trio dynamic of The Doctor, Harry, and Sarah that played out this season.  Harry was a cool character, I don't know why they dropped him after the first story of Season 13.

Baker's tenure would prove to be quite popular both then and now, and he was fortunate to get off to a roaring start.
