"The Crusade" is your standard historical, but its a pretty decent one. Its the only story of the second season to be affected by the BBC wiping policy, and it has 2 episodes missing of the original 4. The Second season is actually the least wounded season of the 60s, missing only these two episodes (the first was missing all of "Marco Polo" and 2 episodes of "The Reign of Terror").
The story takes place in medieval days, during a holy war that involves Richard the Lionheart. Its a pretty fun tale, as far historicals go. Watch and enjoy, I did, and that was with a reconstruction...I hope this story gets animated someday.
