Story: The Space Pirates
Written By: Robert Holmes
Length: 6 Episodes
Year: 1969
"The Space Pirates" is the second story by Robert Holmes, and the second to last (or as my brother and I prefer penultimate) story of the 60s. The story is fairly decent, but still seems like Holmes is figuring it all out. It certainly has enough padding in the 6 episodes. It also the only story (well the second story if you still count the Invasion) that has missing episodes in season 6, or I guess its more accurate to say it is the only story of season 6 that is likely to not get released on DVD for a long long time, until animation becomes cheap enough. Only episode 2 exists.
The story itself isn't that impressive, but the character of Milo Clancey is decent. Overall I feel its another that loses A lot story wise by only having surviving audio.
