Story: The Mutants

Unlike "The Sea Devils", "The Mutants" moves rather slow for a 6-parter. In fact it moves REALLY slow. Its filled with padding. I would say that this might really be a 3 part story in disguise. A 3 parter with a mind of its own, that didn't want to leave television screens so it packed in a lot of boring slow moving action to stay in people's homes for 3 extra weeks.
There may be some good moments in "The Mutants", but its a lot like a later Tom Baker story "Underworld"...in which it goes on for years and when its finally over, you can't really remember any of it.
