A truly great Dalek story. This story which introduces the Dalek creator Davros, and shows the tale of how the Daleks came to be is one of the most popular, and certainly one of the better stories of the series.
The story is a great allegory for the Nazis and Davros himself a science driven Hitler. Essentially the plot involves the Time Lords pulling the Doctor and his Companions out of time and space on their way back to the Ark, which they were transmatting back to at the end of the previous story. The Time Lords send them on a mission to stop the creation of the Daleks. But the Doctor wrestles with the mission, does he have the right to do this? Excellent stuff.
Davros is best in this story, and really should have never been brought back, as it undermines this particular serial's end here.
