Doctor Who: Season Ten Recap

The Tenth Season of Doctor Who! Ten years on the air, and it is one of the shows stronger seasons. Impressive. Season 10 was a step up from Season 9, which I attribute to the fact that the exile for Doctor 3 was lifted, and any stories in which he leaves Earth made a hell of a lot more sense.

It started off with a four part celebration, which featured the first return for Troughton, and the last performance ever of William Hartnell, who died two years later.

Roger Delgado before this season ended, which was a blow to everyone involved in the production of the show, and after Katy Manning decided to leave at the end of the season, it was becoming slowly clear to Pertwee that his family was slowly leaving and it was almost time to go.

In the end I would say this was a solid season, more so than say Season 3, 4, 6, 7, and 9. It still didn't top Season 8, but it did finish off with my favorite Classic Series story, "The Green Death". Thats well worth it for me.
