Story: Image of the Fendahl
Written By: Chris Boucher
Length: 4 Episodes
Year: 1977
This is a pretty mediocre story from classic Who. It is standard fare, with less excitement and flare. It is also noteworthy that Tom doesn't work as well with Louise Jameson as he had with Liz Sladen, so the rapport of our hero and his companion can't even be a saving grace in the episodes.
Overall I'd say skip this one, for its rather dull, padded, and overall forgettable. Season 15 is far from impressive, and this season doesn't give Graham Williams the reputation I'm sure he'd like, but he took over from Hinchcliffe who was stronger for Who, tried to continue in spirit, but the tone and imagination is not there. Unfortunate...but this is sort of the beginning of the show's ultimate fate.
NEXT TIME: The Collector.
