Doctor Who: Season 15 Recap

This was a weak weak season. Most stories are boring, padded and uninteresting ideas. It wasn't a solid effort from new producer Graham Williams. The show just feels tired and worn out this season, and there isn't the trusty Doctor-Companion rapport to fall back on, because as much as I like Louise Jameson as Leela, she never gels with Tom Baker the way Sladen had.

The stand out of the season is most likely The Sun Makers, with Invisible Enemy and Invasion of Time in a distant tied second. Everything else is pretty forgettable, though people like Horror of Fang Rock, and maybe I'll see it again some time and change my mind, but it doesn't really thrill me.

Overall its a pile of the worst Tom Baker material...featuring one of the series worst contributions to society - Underworld.

NEXT TIME: The Quest Begins...
