This is not the strongest episode of the season, but it is still rather solid. I think it is rather clear that Phil Ford is the better writer of the two, as his stories tend to be stronger and his characterizations are more rich. Roberts has submitted decent work on both Doctor who and SJA, and some downright say he stinks, but I like some of his stuff, and I just think he isn't as strong as, say, Steven Moffat.
This story is just okay, it isn't anything stellar, but it has a decent end and I think its good enough. I'm not entirely sure what else you could do with it.
