“Doomsday’s” final moments ended with the arrival of a bride in the TARDIS. This is the pay off for that last 15 seconds. I think it may be my favorite of the Christmas specials. People hated Donna, but I loved her then and even more now. She starts off annoying and overbearing, but Davies gives her depth and saves it in the end. Well done. If there is one thing he can do, its character.

The spider villain is over the top, but I like it. Overall this is just a fun and exciting Christmas fare. The TARDIS/Car Chase is AWESOME, I love it more every time I see it. Wonderful stuff.
So enjoy this for what it is, just good silly fun.
