The Sarah Jane Adventures - Series 3 Recap

Series 3 is decent, but its a step down from Series 2. Series 2 handled the spreading the story lines over two episodes far better than this season did. Something wasn't working in the writing somewhere along the line. There are some good moments, some decent stories, but all in all I feel this season was a bit of a let down.

After all both SJA and Torchwood had better second seasons than their firsts, but Torchwood series 3 was PHENOMENAL, whereas SJA was rather average.  It wasn't bad, but it sometimes part 1 would be solid and part 2 wouldn't hold up, or Part 1 was all set up and no action. "The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith" just feels like we are waiting for the Doctor to show up throughout part 1, its just elongated set up.

Oh well, there is already a fourth series in the works, lets see if they can bring it back on track, and structure the two part stories a little better.
