Story: The Poison Sky
Written By: Helen Raynor
Length: 45 Minutes
Year: 2008
The second part is as strong as the first, proving Helen Raynor isn’t completely worthless. The Doctor uses brains to solve the problem, which is great, and the Sontarans are proven to be a strong enough villain to warrant a return someday, and have already in a somewhat minor way on Sarah Jane Adventures.
The creepy annoying genius guy grows some balls and stands up to the Sontarans and saves the day. Good good. UNIT rules, and the story is all around well executed. Nice to see another classic villain return with gusto. My only complaint is they should have been the main baddie of this season’s finale.
