Story: Human Nature
Written By: Paul Cornell
Length: 45 Minutes
Year: 2007
This is a great two-parter. The first part is filled with mystery, and the villains are creepy as hell, in such a good way. The Doctor is posing as a human, and has no idea of his true identity, only Martha knows. Things get complicated when the aliens hunting him, the family of blood, catch up to them, and the Doctor falls in love with Joan Redfern.
Paul Cornell adapted this from his Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures Novel of the same name. There is so much to enjoy in this episode that is great that it got expanded to a second part. Finally this season gets back on track...and luckily will stay there.
NEXT TIME: Fire and Ice and Rage
